too faced + huda beauty = fav combo for acne 🔛🔝💖

finding the perfect base routine as someone who struggles with acne has been a treacherous journey, but i think i finally found the perfect combo of makeup products to give you a skin-like finish while covering up those pesky pimples. i love trying out different makeup products, especially viral ones like these, and i’m here to tell you…they WORK!!

here is my ultimate base combo / makeup hack for acne-prone skin 💖

1. apply any blurring primer such as the elf liquid poreless putty primer to prep the skin and even skin texture

2. spot conceal any large red blemishes with the too faced born this way concealer - this is my FAVORITE full-coverage concealer, literally you need to try it

3. after spot concealing your breakouts, blend out your concealer with a small dense brush then a sponge

4. apply any medium-full coverage foundation - the huda beauty easy blur foundation is my new fav, so blurring and lightweight with amazing buildable coverage

5. apply cream contour and blush as usual then use the too faced concealer again to brighten and conceal (swipe to see my concealer placement, minimal because the concealer is so pigmented)

6. use the huda beauty easy bake loose setting powder to set the entire face - i like using a triangle sponge under my eyes and in my t-zone then baking for a few minutes

7. use a big fluffy blush to wipe off your excess powder, complete the rest of your routine as normal, then set with a strong setting spray like urban decay’s all nighter setting spray!
