How To Visit Cambodia For $20 A Day

If you’re traveling to Cambodia on a budget, here’s a few tips to manage to stick to your budget.

Transportation 🛺

I used the PassApp to order my Tuktuk drivers. This is a good way to not be scammed with higher prices and overall is way cheaper than taxis.

You can also use Grab and TADA.

Accommodation 🏨

Cambodia is a good destination to save on accommodation since it’s cheap pretty much anywhere.

I always stayed downtown and paid around 💰Price:$7 per night.

When in Phnom Penh I stayed at PoolTop Phnom Penh and paid 💰Price:8 for a private room with breakfast included.

Food 🍜

If you’re into street food, you can expect cheap prices ranging from 💰Price:$2 to $4 per meal. In restaurants, prices are around 💰Price:$7 per meal. Overall, it’s cheap, and the food is delicious.

Attractions 🗼

You can opt to visit the cheapest or free attractions first and see if you have any time left on your trip. Cambodia offers many free activities, such as the Royal Palace Park, Bat Cave Phnom Sampov and Koh Rong.
