Pennsylvania fall activity 🍂🍁

Pittsburgh is such a great city to visit in the fall for several reasons! Great weather, beautiful fall foliage, it’s more lively with classes back in session, and of course football games 🏈

Here are some of my favorite things to do in Pittsburgh during fall 🫶

🏟️See a Steelers or a Pitt game at Acrisure Stadium: (aka Heinz field) definitely a must if you’re here during the fall, these games are soooo fun and you can really feel the sense of pride and community Pittsburgh has💛

🚠 Ride up The Duquesne Incline: also a must if you’re in Pittsburgh and it’s even prettier with the fall colors when you’re looking at this famous view of the city. Only $5 for a round trip and it’s open very early in the morning to late at night, about 12:30am so hours are flexible.

🧑‍🎨Visit The Andy Warhol Museum: this is the largest museum in the WORLD that is dedicated to one single artist. Also the largest museum in North America! It’s about $20-25 for a ticket but I think it’s so worth it! It’s open from 10am-5pm however it’s closed on Tuesdays.

🌃Check out the Strip District: one of the most interesting and vibrant districts in Pittsburgh, the Strip District has tons of opportunities to eat and shop both ethnically and locally, however I think going to the original Primanti Bros. Restaurant and Bar location is a must if you want an authentic Pittsburgh dining experience 🍽️ 🍔

🌳Go to Point State Park: this is great during the fall especially because of the foliage! You can bike or walk along the Three Rivers Heritage Trail or the Great Allegheny Passage, or if you’re into history, the Fort Pitt Museum and Fort Pitt Block House are right nearby 😌
