Mindful Spending: It’s really that simple

There were so many hacks and tips on how to save money. Like buying from a particular store or going Malaysia and so on.

But it didn’t really fit with my lifestyle choice of wanting to be more conscious in my spending and being mindful in my consumption.

What I did is simply go through life with this mindset:

✨FINISH ONE, BUY ONE.✨

Really. it is just that simple. I don’t need 12 different types of moisturiser or 15 lipsticks of the same Color.

They will be rarely used and the product will be expired or wasted before I reached the bottom.

So I simply just stop buying and chasing the hype of new launches. Once a product that I own is finish. I replace it with something new or repurchase since it was so good. Plus the thrill of finishing a bottom and rewarding yourself is ever so sweet.

I saved close to $352 on skincare alone. And it really helps in declutterring my vanity corner. (Why did I have 5 toners for ????)

So that’s just my simple tip to anyone that wishes to truly save money. (Plus decrease your hoarding! Seriously have you seen the landfills in Indonesia 🫠)#sustainability #consciousliving #mindfulspending
