YOUR GUIDE TO CLASS 3/3A (i passed!!) cost, tips ✨

i passed my traffic police (tp) test two days ago (from the day of writing this post!!!) means i can officially vroom vroom YAYYY!! this means a lot to me because i have always wanted to be able to drive since i was a little girl 😆

❓how many times did it take me to pass?

2 times!

❓where did you learn?

i initially went to SSDC (woodlands) as a school learner. however i had MAJOR issues booking practical lessons with them (NO SLOTS FOR AN ENTIRE YEAR?!) which costed me about $300… 💔 (don’t go to ssdc frfr)

at that point of time i was pretty pissed as i wasted 3 months already and ssdc couldn’t tell me when they can give me a practical lesson?! (needless to say i was outraged) 😡

so i changed to a private learner at CDC (ubi) 🥲

❓where did you find your private instructor?

i came across this site => PassFast Driving Instructors

- their aim is to help learner drivers obtain a driving license in the shortest time possible

💸 cost — ~$2950

i have already broke the cost down in my 2nd picture, but here were this site’s rates!

non-peak hour lessons - $62

peak hour lessons - $65

circuit lessons (on top of the lesson fee) - $40.66

❓why did you fail the first time?

i was nervous af.. and i put too much pressure on myself! i ended up striking the pole during the 3 point turn going up the kerb station thingy with the pole infornt of you lol 💔

- my second time was much more successful because i was partially lucky! i had a very chill malay young dude as my traffic police tester. so he was really friendly and i felt more at ease with him being beside me. compared to my first test, i had an older chinese man in his 50s… so i felt way more pressured LOL😥

✨final thoughts:

while you may not necessarily have a car to drive at 19, it is definitely a lifetime investment 😌

- you may find it coming in handy when you have a family with children in the future to send to school

- when you are a working bosslady or man, and you need to drive around singapore to meet clients and people

- strike lottery and are able to afford a car (least likely but hey you never know! 😆)

jokes aside, it is a good life skill to have. so it’s definitely worth the money! 😌
