the gym has always been a space for me to be alone and centre of myself, but since a few months ago, i’ve been going to the gym with this girl that steals my clothes, steals my pre workout and disrupts my sets. but i’ve had the best time in the gym with her

going to the gym together has helped our relationship in many ways, strengthening our bond and learning how to grow together. it is another activity we can do together when we do meet. comes with daily pep talks and hyping each other up. also helping spot each other and her trying although she usually can’t lift up the weight when she’s spotting me.

however, we do not workout together, i must emphasise this point. going to the gym together does not mean working out together, it means having eye contact across the gym, sharing a water bottle sometimes and hyping each other when its needed. so yes. gym with your partner
