💙 RAYA 2023: How to Tie Sewn Pario for Beginners 💙

Hi loves!

If you’re still looking for a way to securely tie your pario (Pareo??) this raya, i gotchu!

❗️Before we start, its crucial to know that there are 2 types of pario.

1. Readily sewn where its sewn in the middle (Pario jahit)

2. Unsewn (Pario lepas)

This video will be focusing on the first. Here’s 2 styles you can create with it:

💙Style 1: Single Twist

In this style you’re gonna twist your pareo one time

1. Cross the left panel over the right

2. Wrap the pario around your body

3. You can choose to tie them on the side or at the back - i prefer on the side just bcs its easier to tie.

4. All done!

💙Style 2: Double Twist

Like the name, you’re gonna double twist the pario

1. Cross the left panel over the right, and do it one more time.

2. Unlike the first, this way gives the pareo a knotted look instead of it being folded .

3. Again i choose to tie on the side cs its easier and voila!
