WHO is starting poly soon?!? 🤯

I'm a Year 3 student graduating this year!! Now that I'm your senior 😉here are some tips y'all should know before starting poly this April 🫶🏻

❔What to expect

🔹If you've heard from others that Poly is easier than JC and you decided to choose Poly cause you are lazy... Nah it's not as easy as you think ❌ JC & Poly are difficult in their own ways 🫱🏼‍🫲🏻

🔹As much as you want to have fun in poly, DO NOT neglect your lectures and learn to manage your time well

🔹I thought that Poly is easier and slack off during my year 1, regretted it soooooo much as I had a hard time pulling up my GPA🥹 Do not be like me pls

📝 GPA, Projects, Exams

🔹GPA is cumulative from year 1 to 3, so if you screw up your year 1 like me, you gonna have a hard time pulling ur cumulative GPA 😔 Every semester GPA is as important as your final GPA at the end of graduation especially if you at are planning to go University👍🏼

🔹As a student in a design course, I do not have exams but only projects and quizzes. DO NOT start doing projects last minute and cramp it when it's nearing the due date, you're literally gonna cry and breakdown😭 yes I'm speaking from experience🥹

🔹You need to manage your time well and separate time for different projects / exams to study for in order to get enough rest and mental breaks.👍🏼 It will get very stress bearing the deadlines, but trust me start early and you won't regret! Try not to procrastinate🫢

🧑‍🏫 Lecturers

🔹Try to be as buddy buddy and friendly with your lecturers!🫱🏼‍🫲🏻 Most of the lecturers are kind, friendly and they are willing to help 👍🏼

🔹Do not be rude to them 😠 they are trying their best to help you.

🔹Never be afraid to ask for help or extra tutoring if you need! They are more than willing to help you 😁
