How to survive Korea’s intense Summer heat ☀️🥵

If you’re planning to travel to Korea in Summer, I salute you 🫡

Don’t underestimate their heat and temperature! I personally think it is worst than Singapore, especially since you’ll be out and about. The sun rays also burn your skin so be careful!

Here’s some tips from a girl that spent her entire Summer in Korea, sweating and whining about the heat:

🔥 It rains and at the most unpredictable times! I happened to experience their worst rainfall and flooding, and it can get quite scary. Remember to bring your umbrella everywhere you go! I got a pretty light and sturdy one from Muji in SG

🔥 Please protect your heads!! My scalp was burnt and it was a horrible experience. Might as well get a cute cap or hat 🤭

🔥 Sunblock please!! Spam the sunblock on your face and body! It’s really a MUST.

🔥 Try a Jimjilbang (korean sauna) experience. You’ll get to rejuvenate your body, escape the sun and also have a korean culture experience!

🔥 Enjoy desserts and cold drinks! Sulbing was my bff, I tried almost everything on their large menu… Also sikhye is so good and refreshing!

🔥 Bring your makeup to touch up before taking pics! You def will need to after sweating in the hot sun..

💖 Remember to hydrate yourselves! The last thing you want is to fall sick or be dehydrated.
