🏆 how i goal set with my bullet journal

one of the main things that the bullet journal is good for is helping you to reach your goals by breaking down the goal! i will go through a step by step explanation of how i goal set in mine.

1️⃣ i typically start with writing out my yearly goals at the beginning of each year to see what sort of goals i want to try and achieve by the end of the year. i try to be realistic for the most part, but i do also like to write down what i’d consider a “reach” goal. For example, this year i wrote down a goal of reading a book for the year.

2️⃣ on my monthly spreads, i like to then choose a few monthly goals that will help me to reach my yearly goal. so, for reading a book for the year, i decided that i would choose out a book and buy it so that it would motivate me to read throughout the year.

3️⃣ finally, i break down the goals even further from a week to week basis by setting small tasks for me to do. in this example, i would write down a task of reading a chapter in the book that i wanted to read for the year.
