Your all-in-one list of thrift stores in Osaka 🇯🇵

Ian and I hit up Osaka’s America-Mura, which is said to be the Harajuku of Osaka! They have tons of vintage stores in there and you’ll definitely be spoilt for choice 🤩

Here are some stores we found that will seriously ignite the shopaholic in you:

1️⃣ KINJI Vintage Clothing

Good mix of men & women’s clothing, and they take up 3/4 of the second level of a mall! Huge variety with lots of good options. It’s actually a chain, so you can also find them in Tokyo and Kyoto!

2️⃣ Yamahisa Used Clothing Shop

They work on a piece by piece basis and have a fixed price for all the pieces. We were quite surprised the women’s shirts were going for ¥500 per piece while the men’s was ¥1,850! We guessed supply & demand.

3️⃣ Grizzly

They separate the clothing by brands, which makes it easier for you to find the brands you’re looking for! They also have clearance racks where everything is going for ¥380 ($3.80) each!

4️⃣ WEGO Vintage

Their items seem to be in slightly better condition than the others, and I was really gunning for a really cute oversized Ralph Lauren button down, but the price of $60 stopped me 😀 They still have lots of cool stuff & even their own brand of clothing on sale!

5️⃣ West Coast Anchor

They had a bunch of 90s nostalgia graphic tees & Hawaiian shirts, and a selection of bags at the front of the shop!

FYI, you should see アメリカ村 on the address, and you’ll be in the right place. It stands for “Amerika-Mura”. America Mura in Osaka is soooo good for thrift shopping and bargain hunting in Japan, that you’re bound to find something that you like there! Happy shopping 🛍️
