Before & After: Living Room Edition

I moved in my apartment in December of 2022, and I didn’t get a couch until March of 2023. For awhile, my living room was empty and lacked character until I decided to finally hang the mirrors I purchased from IKEA in May. Shortly after, during the first week of June, I added an area rug, accent chair, and end table.

It took me about 6 months to completely decorate my living room and it was definitely worth the wait. I would much rather take my time decorating than to be impulsive and buy a bunch of furniture and decor that I’ll eventually get tired of.

Overall, I’m obsessed with the way it turned out. It’s the best feeling in the world to come home to a cozy living room. I’m also proud of myself for being able to design such a beautiful space.
