San Francisco | 3-Day Itinerary

Last spring my friend Jenny and I flew to San Francisco for a quick trip. Being type A planners, we put together a detailed 3-day itinerary. In this post, I will share everything we did on Day 1! We started the day by picking up coffee and pastries at The Coffee Movement because I had read great reviews online and had seen how aesthetically pleasing the coffee shop looked on Instagram. We then walked around Chinatown and the neighboring area, and marveled at the pastel color houses before going to the Fisherman’s Wharf for lunch. We had clam chowder, which I thought was good but I’ve definitely had better – perhaps we chose the wrong restaurant (there were many seafood spots in the area). We stumbled upon Musée Mécanique, which is an old school arcade where you insert coins to play games at mechanical machines. The sun set pretty quickly in SF so we ended the night early by walking along the pier and checking out some gift shops. I had In-N-Out Burger for the first time and can confidently say that Shake Shack is 10x better…and it’s not even because I’m from the East Coast!
