Battle of the Bananabreads🍌 #BOBB

1. Plain Vanilla Brown Sugar bananabread (sgd 5.50) :

My personal OG banana bread will always be the Plain Vanilla BB as it has this brown sugared top that complements the moist, dense yet fluffy banana bread itself, as it isnt overly sweet on its own! Not only that, Plain vanilla serves glass of water with dine in which is great or you can choose a cup of tea or coffee fo pair with! The price is decent too, and not a blow to the wallet too.

2. Nakey's THICC banana bread (sgd 4) :

Handsdown one of the best if not my current top banana bread in sg!! Its not only thicc as the cafe suggests, it fulfills all my checkboxes of an amazing BB - sweet but not cloying, great Banana noted n fruit chunks, dense n a lil fluffy ! Its rlly worth its price too at only sgd 4 (b4 gst) which is a steal!

3. TheGoodBoys' homemade BB (sgd 4.50) :

Ever since ive tried their banana bread, i realised how regular, og banana breads w/o all the jazz is simply as good because they mastered the right size n slice n also the perfect cross section w small pockets of banana which is just enough! Cant get enough of it n what makes it better is a cup of iced black to pair with! 😋

4. Rise Cafe's brown sugar banana bread (sgd 4.90) :

At only sgd 4.90, this small slice of brown banana bread holds great character becausw it is just the right amt of sweetness PLUS its finished with a banana top n a rosemary garnish which elevates the sensory experience! I loveee their browned butter waffles so when i first saw this i hadd to try n till this date ive got no regrets! Please let me know ur opinions (:

5. Yeastside's Brown banana bread (sgd ) :

Moving on, we have one of my tops because this banana bread hands down nails it interms of looks, thickness, size m also sweetness n banana-rey ness because its brown sugar infuses dough makes it just the right moistness n density and its so mourish i always crave it whenever i have a slice haha

6. Kith cafe's banana bread (sgd 3.90) :

A recent discovery and it blew my mind as i got it as a takeaway and little did i know i would never be able to turn back..besides their original, they have the chocolate tahini banana bread (sgd 4.90) as well! Ive tried both n id say their choc one is a lil too sweet for me n the flavors muted the original 🍌 taste>.<

Overall, the bread is worth the price tag n its jist the way i fancy except might even be overly moist when warm so take note!

Some honorable mentions incl Buttertown's 🧈 signature sourdough banana bread & Crescent waffle's Choc banana bread which are frgrant, moist n delectable as well but did not rank as high as the ones above due to its more unique take to the classic.
