How I told my mom I was pregnant

Back in 2021 when I first got pregnant, my mom and I were talking literally everyday and of course we were talking TTC because she knew we were. I always knew I didn’t want to tell my mom over the phone and that would take some secret keeping!

I decided not to tell her when I found out but to instead have her come visit and tell her on a hike we planned! She was coming down anyway because we were closing on our home the week after my first prenatal appointment so it was perfect timing!

Once we got to the mountains I was just trying not to spill the beans! Lol it was especially hard when she was teasing me about how winded I was but little did she know there was a legit reason 😅

We got to the top and she took some pics while I pulled the board out of my backpack. I say down with her while my husband recorded and we got her entire reaction on video! She was so excited and shocked it hit it for 6 weeks 🤣
