how to study when you are easily distracted

If you are an avid Tiktok or Instagram scroller, you most likely have noticed the effects on your ability to concentrate. No need to worry – I can say from experience that even though I don’t have the same attention span as I did in college (weekly 4 hour Economics 101 lecture anyone??), I have found ways to stay on track and focused on my tasks.

This comes with some trial and error – I know some of my friends can’t study with others because that distracts them too much, however I am someone who feeds off the productive energy of others around me buried in their laptops/books.

Know yourself and your patterns (don’t study next to your bed!) – and make sure to chat up that type A friend who can let you in on their organizational/schedule-oriented ways!
