I went through a lot of different gym phases throughout my fitness journey. I think my favorite thing about fitness is knowing your body and being able to change your aesthetic at any time. I had a point in my fitness journey where I loved lifting super heavyweights and taking creatine every single day. As you can see by the second photo I had huge muscles but my aesthetic changed and I didn’t want to be as bulky. If this is your goal no means am I shaming that just isn’t what I wanted for myself anymore. I wanted a more feminine look so I stopped taking creatine and I stopped shoulder pressing 40 pounds because I wanted to change how I looked and fitness gave me the power to do that. Knowing a lot about fitness or working out, doesn’t just happen by watching a few videos. It comes with trial and error, and lots of time to process information. It took me almost 2 years before I started regularly stretching before, and after my leg workouts. This helped me improve my recovery time and my muscle mass. I also recommend using a TDEE calculator to actually track calories if that’s your thing. This way you know how much you’re suppose to eat instead of guessing.
