We all know it and have heard it millions of times before; “consistency is key”.

Most likely because that IS the truth (hate to break it to ya, but don’t worry I’m here to help!!)

92% of people give up their New Year’s resolutions before achieving them…92%!!

All because of “all in or all out” thinking.

Most goals that people set for themselves are way too unrealistic for the time frame they give themselves. The unrealistic goals + no actual plan = a recipe for disaster, most likely leaving you feeling even worse than before you set your goals.

BUTTTT I’m here to let you know, that it’s never “too late” to restart your fitness journey. In fact, the thing I want to emphasize the most is that it’s not supposed to be PERFECT…and neither are you.

1. Set out your gym clothes the night before.

If you pick out a cute outfit the night before, it will make it way easier for you to just get up and get out of bed or pack it with you to school/work in the morning.

2. Plan your workouts ahead of time

Plan and schedule a time for each workout! if you treat your gym session like it’s an appointment by locking it in your calendar, you will be less likely to procrastinate throughout the week.

3. Meal prep for the week

Choose one day to cook and meal prep for the following week. This will not only save you money, but also time that you could be using for your workouts instead of coming home and cooking every night.

4. Find a REALISTIC gym split

Don’t just copy what all your favourite fitness influencers are doing…remember it’s not about how much you can do, but what you can do CONSISTENTLY. look at your current schedule and plan a realistic split for the days you are POSITIVE that you can make it. If that means 2-3 workouts to start…that’s still better than nothing!
