Breastfeeding Feeding Tips2

Disclaimer- I am not a lactation nurse or professional. These are just some tips that I've learned and have helped me in my journey as a new breastfeeding mom.

🍼I'm currently one year postpartum. When I first had my daughter, I was considered an over supplier. I had a good freezer stash and enough milk to feed my daughter for days. I was strictly pumping at first due to me having an inverted nipple, until I started using the nipple shield which helped me a lot with her latch. When I went to my 6 week PP app I started my IUD, which started my period and I experienced my first slight dip. I was still making enough to feed my daughter, but now I was only freezing one - two bags a day.

🍼A month later I went back to work, due to stress and my new schedule caused me to have the worst dips in my journey. I went from being able to feed my daughter to barely. I ran through my freezer stash, and I wasn't ready to supplement with formula. She was 3 months old at the time.

🍼Since then I've learned a lot about breastfeeding and maintaining a good healthy supply. I'm not yet finished with my journey but I'm ready to share what I've learned. This journey wasn't easy and is a full time job so I hope these tips and tricks help you along your journey of being a breastfeeding mommy.
