🌶️ Spicy Cajun Steak with Creamy Alfredo Pasta
📝Ingredients:
1 lb steak (ribeye or sirloin), sliced into strips
🍝12 oz fettuccine pasta
🍼2 cups heavy cream
🧀1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
🧂1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
🧈2 tbsp butter
🫗1 tbsp olive oil
🧄2 cloves garlic, minced
🧅1 small onion, diced
🍃1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
🧂Salt and pepper to taste
👩🏾🍳Directions:
Cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over 🔥medium-high heat. 🧂Season the steak strips with salt, pepper, and half of the Cajun seasoning. Add the steak to the skillet and cook until browned on all sides, about ⏲️4-5 minutes. Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, 🧈add butter, 🧄minced garlic, and 🧅diced onion. Sauté until the onion is translucent, about 2-3 minutes.
🍼Pour in the heavy cream and bring the mixture to a simmer. Stir in the grated 🧀Parmesan cheese and remaining 🧂Cajun seasoning until the sauce is smooth and creamy.
🍝Add the cooked pasta to the skillet, tossing it in the creamy Alfredo sauce until fully coated.
Return the cooked steak strips to the skillet and mix well.Garnish with fresh 🍃parsley and serve hot.
