let's destigmatize talking about salary!

when I got my first job offer, I didn't really know what to expect in terms of salary, stock, bonuses, etc...

I did a lot of research (on sites like Glassdoor, Fishbowl, Blind, and other salary comparison website) in order to understand:

1) what the market rate for positions I was applying to was

2) what I should ask for in salary negotiations

I used this data to back up my points and showcase my value when I went into my first ever negotiation conversation with the recruiter.

and guess what? I got more $$$!!!
