Health anxiety keeps me up…🥲

talking about something more somber today & it’s health anxiety/worry. with accessibility of info these days, i often try to diagnose myself with an illness based on the few symptoms that i have. it doesn’t help that whatever i search on Google, appears on my tiktok fyp too due to the algorithm… my fears are then emphasised after seeing all the tiktoks regarding that particular illness that i searched & im now convinced i have a certain illness… idk if this is something I face because i’m too naive in believing whatever I see on the internet OR i just crave certainty and preparing myself for the worst is my coping mechanism. im not sure which of the 2 it is but either don’t seem to be helping me.

i find myself not being able to sleep at night because i usually doom scroll at night on tiktok haha😬 and im left wide awake wondering about the random illnesses i have. idk when i started to feel this way, maybe as I read about more people contracting new diseases, the fear in me amplified (?)

i do catch myself worrying and spiralling but I also can’t seem to stop the thoughts from coming in… idk what to do because it’s really affecting my sleep & day to day activities. just a scared girl tbh

do any of yall feel like this? 😞😞
