NYC MUST EATS!

sharing my favourite & must eat spots in nyc!!

1. Joe's Pizza 🍕 Joe's Pizza Broadway

Very famous spot for NYC pizza and it's definitely worth the hype. Mine was the caprese, about 6.50 USD for a slice. So so good, thin crust, creamy burrata and perfectly flavoured tomato base ! 😋

No meat on this but for someone who needs meat on almost all her meals this was amazing & I would definitely return. 10/10 value n taste !

2. Gai Chicken & Rice 🐓 🇹🇭 Gai Chicken & Rice

Not really one of the must eat spots in NYC but chanced upon this place near my hotel. They serve thai style chicken rice, and I must say it was very legit...REAL chicken rice rice and the chicken was damn good especially the fried one 🤤 together w the chilli 😍 damn sedap! Around 12.95 USD per bowl ! Definitely worth trying if you are there and craving some asian food 😝

3. Katz's Delicatessen 🥪 Katz's Delicatessen

Famous spot among locals and tourists, resulting in a queue most of the time. 28.95 USD for that huge sandwich and a plate of the biggest pickles I've ever seen. Pricey but hey it's NYC...everything is expensive. BUT this was definitely worth every single cent, if you love meat you would definitely love this. The meat was so so so tender and paired amazing w the mustard inside. Together with the pickles that help to cut the oiliness, wah rly 👩🏻‍🍳💋. Portion was huge, I couldn't finish it alone, neither could the random guy opposite me, so I saw him tabao and I tabaoed mine too. Definitely a portion for 2 or even 3 as it can be abit jelat. My 1. MUST try spot in NYC!!!!

4. Los Tacos 🌮 LOS TACOS No.1

Another famous spot in NYC which is definitely worth the hype ~~ Ranges from 4.75-6 USD per taco. Mine was the flour tortilla cuz I'm not a fan of hard shell tacos. They make the taco right in front of you after you pass them your order ticket. Free flow condiments like pico de gallo at the side which was amazing. Very yummy if you love tacos!! Highly recommended as it's not too expensive and also super yummy 😋 But do note the place is very popular,so there's usually a queue and might take a while to find a spot to eat for bigger groups (standing tables only!).

5. Junior's Restaurant & Bakery 👩🏻‍🍳 Junior's Restaurant & Bakery

This place was recommended by a friend so decided to try. The dish in the pic is their steak & eggs 28.95 USD. Actually it was my friend's dish 🤣 but it was so good, better than mine... Steak was super duper tender and perfectly cooked to medium rare! Surprising as it was more of a breakfast diner place. Pricey but yummy 🤓

6. Adel's famous 🥙 Adel's Famous Halal Food

Also a famous spot among the locals & tourists. Opens at 6pm but a long line would form even before 5.30pm before the food truck even arrived. Hearsay its better than the famous halal guys (which I have not tried) 🤷🏻‍♀️. I got the yellow rice with lamb & chicken , paired with their white sauce, it was around 11 USD. Pretty good, the white sauce with the meat was 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼 Highly recommend to give it a try if the queue isn't too long 😀

7. Magnolia Bakery 🧁 Magnolia Bakery

Popular for their banana puddings & cupcakes (which I didn't try). Had no idea what a banana pudding was, was assuming it was some kind of jelly pudding but it was packed in an ice cream looking tub so I was v confused. But basically it was like creamy vanilla cream (?) with banana and something like sponge cake pieces. The texture was like semi melted ice cream but it was good! Definitely on the sweeter side so might wanna pass if you aren't into sweet stuff, if not it's worth a try. Starts from 4.95 USD for a small cup.

8. Chipotle Chipotle Mexican Grill

Imagine GYG but 20 times better. 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼 I love chipotle since the day I tried it, a MUST for me if I'm in the US. So so soooooo good, I would volunteer to be a chipotle ambassador because I love it so much. Heres my exact order every single time I buy Chipotle 😝

Bowl with :

- white rice

- steak

- NO BEANS

- pico de gallo

- corn salsa

- sour cream

- no guac

- lettuce

rly hits everytime 👩🏻‍🍳👩🏻‍🍳💋💋💋 honestly the portion differs in different part of the US...and I must say NYC has the smallest portion LOL but honestly whatever its so good I will still go back over and over again. About 15 USD for my order ~~~
