This is part one! I donโ€™t even know where to start when it comes to all there is to eat in the Big Appleโ€ฆ ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ—ฝ

Itโ€™s the anniversary of my month-long trip to NYC and Iโ€™m finally getting down to compiling all Iโ€™ve tried and tested there. I take my food. Very Seriously. So other than a few hiccups here and there, everything else was golden!!! ๐Ÿคฉ

Hereโ€™s part one of all that I ate there and I hope it gives you some ideas if youโ€™re planning on visiting NYC any time soon!

About ~USD5 for the iconic cereal milk soft serve. Itโ€™s served with cornflake bits which add a bit of crunch to it. This was my first American dessert and it didnโ€™t disappoint. Surprisingly not too sweet (before this I had the misconception that the desserts there were CLOYING).

While I donโ€™t find myself going out of the way to get it, if I was passing by Iโ€™d drop into the store and pick a cup (or cone!) up.

๐™๐™–๐™ฉ๐™ž๐™ฃ๐™œ: 7/10. Solid but itโ€™s just a soft serve at the end of the day. Worth a try!

This was my first Chipotle, and I had it along Hudson River.

First things first, the portions were amazing. One big dollop of guacamole for a small fee of USD2? Sign me right up.

My favourite protein to have with this was the steak but quality is hit-or-miss depending on the outlet! Sometimes my steak was overcookedโ€ฆ The carnitas were also really good.

๐™๐™–๐™ฉ๐™ž๐™ฃ๐™œ: 10/10!!!! You canโ€™t not have chipotle if youโ€™re in USAโ€ฆplsโ€ฆ

Honestly, TMBH has nothing on these. Iโ€™ve yet to try others, but this place was recommended by my friends. The bagels were loadedโ€ฆand I mean loaded. I shared this with a friend but we had trouble finishing them because it was just massive.

Sadly there was no place to have it in store so it was grab and go.

If youโ€™ve tried other bagelries, let me know how they were!

๐™๐™–๐™ฉ๐™ž๐™ฃ๐™œ: 8/10. I would pick this up again but imo itโ€™s pretty pricey for breakfast! I would like to try other bagelries as well.

Ok this isnโ€™t a must-eat, but itโ€™s defos worth a try at least once.

Pancakes were moist, fluffy, and the paragon of what American pancakes should be. Besides the maple syrup, I have to say the other sauces were REALLY sweet so you can give it a skip.

๐™๐™–๐™ฉ๐™ž๐™ฃ๐™œ: 7.5/10. Am I basic? Yes. Was this delicious? Also yes.

Peter Luger is on the pricier side but the steak was honestly fantastic, I couldnโ€™t find any fault with it. Juicy, fatty, yet ridiculously tender. The cook was perfect, and the beef fat fries were fluffy and full of flavour.

The burger is a lunch special but itโ€™s also really good and affordable. If you donโ€™t want to splash out on the steak, I totally recommend getting the burger which was bursting with beefy goodness.

๐™๐™–๐™ฉ๐™ž๐™ฃ๐™œ: 9/10. If you can spare the cash, do yourself a favour and drop by here. Itโ€™s pretty pricey but hey, get the burger (around USD20) and thatโ€™s a great compromise.

Iโ€™m not really a fast food gal but I gotta give praise where praise is due: Chick-fil-A knows what itโ€™s doing with its burgers. Flavourful, NOT dry, albeit a bit greasy (as fast food tends to be).

I tried its grilled chicken burger, too, which was much more up my alley (lol health nut or wtv). Love that the stores have the macros on the menu.

Pro-tip: scan the receipt and fill up the survey to get a free burger! So with every purchase of a burger, you get another one hehehe ;)

๐™๐™–๐™ฉ๐™ž๐™ฃ๐™œ: 7.5/10! Not a must-have for me but if itโ€™s your first-time in USA, you have to try this. If you love fried chicken, youโ€™ll love the burgers.

Sheโ€™s an icon, sheโ€™s a legend, sheโ€™s the moment. Probably one of the most famous eats in NYC. I can say itโ€™s worth the hype โ€” thick slabs of beef accompanied by tart, sour pickles. The beef melts in your mouth and is bursting with flavour.

Itโ€™s expensive, I have to admit. This was about ~USD25 not including tips. Highly recommend dropping a USD5 into the tip box at the counter, the server will give you more.

๐™๐™–๐™ฉ๐™ž๐™ฃ๐™œ: 9/10! Itโ€™s NOT cheap, letโ€™s be real, but would I return? Absolutely.

I know itโ€™s up in the air about exactly who has the best tacos, but this is one of the unanimous spots.

I mean, you know itโ€™s good when you hear everyone around you speaking Espaรฑol ๐Ÿคฉ My fave was the carne asada, which was smokey and dripping with juices. I like the salsa station where you take your own condiments.

๐™๐™–๐™ฉ๐™ž๐™ฃ๐™œ: 10/10, ate this twice and will continue to eat this every time I come by.

My friend alerted me to these delightful-looking tarts. Itโ€™s not a well-known bakery by NYC standards but I loved this very much. Especially if youโ€™re a tart person!

The Lemon Meringue was my favourite but the Mixed Berry one wa also lovely. I paid around $15 for both so itโ€™s on the expensive side, but then again what in NYC isnโ€™t? :โ€™)

๐™๐™–๐™ฉ๐™ž๐™ฃ๐™œ: 9/10. Just beautiful and it tasted as good as it looks.
