MUST SAVE! Places to visit and what to eat in San Francisco:
👉 Day One:
✨Chinatown
San Francisco has one of the oldest and largest Chinatowns outside of Asia. It’s a don’t miss! Exploring it also free. Check out the Dragon Gate Entranc or Bruce Lee Mural.
If you’re hungry, eat Dim Sum 🥟!
For groups, go to Lai Hong Lounge.
For solo, go to Mong Kok Bakery.
✨Asian Art Museum
This museum is huge and there’s so much to learn. I love their special exhibits. For example Japan’s TeamLab set up an immersive exhibit for a few months and it was so beautiful. You’ll spend a good 2-3 hours here.
✨Fisherman’s Wharf
See the sealions, Alcatraz, get some mini donuts or a bowl of clam chowder. This spot is always busy with many restaurants, boat tours, and random activities available.
✨North Beach
North Beach has a lot of restaurants, bakeries and bars, but one place will steal your heart - Golden Boy Pizza. One slice is very cheap and delicious!
Tip: Try the Garlic Clam slice
✨Persona
Have you ever gone to an underground bar? At the entrance, Persona has neon signs and you just go down the stairs. The vibe is dark and sexy!
Tip: Try the Sweet Paradise drink! They set it on fire 🔥
👉Day Two:
✨Son and Garden
This breakfast or brunch spot is popular for their food and drinks. The decorations are also amazing. You can’t help but take pictures here. Make sure to get a meal that’ll give you energy because you’re going to walk a lot the rest of the day.
✨Golden Gate Park
You can find a lot of random things in Golden Gate Park. I recommend checking out the Dutch Windmill, bison 🦬 (what?! I know right?), and Stow Lake (check out its haunted history).
✨Japantown
Japantown is small, but you still have many restaurant and shopping options. After exploring, I suggest getting lunch, like at the famous Marufuku, Udon Mugizo, or fun conveyor belt sushi at Izumi.
✨Palace of Fine Arts
You’ll be amazed by the architecture at the Palace of Fine Arts. Every detail is beautiful. There’s a reason so many people book photo shoots here. Sometimes, concerts are in the area.
✨Twin Peaks
Twin Peaks give you the best 360 view of San Francisco! You can come during the day, but I suggest coming at sunset or a night.
✨The Mission
The Mission area has a lot of places to eat. It’s known for l taquerias, but if you’re in the mood for something else, I recommend to get Taishoken for their Tsukemen (dipping ramen). End the night with one big hot bowl of noodles!
