hellooo,, as promised in my chongqing post, here’s my chengdu itinerary!! overall, chengdu is definitely more chill and laid-back compared to chongqing 😌 we kicked things off with a train ride 🚄 from chongqing to chengdu, which cost us around $70 round trip — could’ve been cheaper but we booked during peak hours. by the time we arrived, it was already noon, so here’s how our days unfolded:

day 1:

1. cosmo 🛍️ - super gen z mall with lots of interesting shops! i had fun browsing around, but the clothes weren’t really my style since i’m more into basic pieces 😅 my friend with a more adventurous style, though, loved shopping here! plus, there are some nice cafes to chill at ☕~

2. tai koo li & chun xi pedestrian street 🏙️ - after shopping, we strolled over to tai koo li and chun xi pedestrian street to check out the famous panda on the building (IFS mall) 🐼 it was packed, but we managed to snap a few pics! there were tons of shops like miniso, urban revivo, and street food stalls, so we stayed till the end of the day.

day 2:

1. florentia village 🏷️ - outlet shopping day!! 🛒 we took a didi to florentia village, which was about 45min-1h away, but didi is super cheap (less than $10 for that distance), so no worries 😎 the outlet had so many discounts—I scored 4 nike shoes and a shirt for only $220 SGD!! so worth it 🤩

2. dujiangyan blue tears ✨- after shopping, we headed to dujiangyan to see the beautiful blue lights in the water 🌊 it was another hour from the outlet, but totally worth it! the area was buzzing with nightlife, shops, and street food! we decided to skip the tour and go on our own since it was cheaper and most tours ended too early to see the lights. also, we specifically planned this route because the outlet was between jianggou and our hotel at tai koo li ~

day 3:

1. giant panda base 🐼 - we did this free & easy since it was cheaper and not too far away! the panda to human ratio was a bit much 😅 but we still managed to catch a few pandas and red pandas, making the trip worth it! we also got some adorable panda-themed food and souvenirs~

2. 乐郊记忆 🛍️ - OMG THERES BRANDY MELVILLE HERE😍 my fave place to shop because i’m such a basic pieces girlie~ i spent like 1-2h here lol, the store was HUGE!! the shopping street vibe was super young and hipster, with lots of trendy cafes and clothing shops. wished we had more time here, but we had to rush back for our train to chongqing :’)

ok that’s it for our packed chengdu trip~ i think we managed to hit most of the main attractions, so yay! hope this helps if you’re planning to go to chengdu soon ✈️✈️
